Occupational Therapist - Lymphedema Specialist (PRN Days)

Under the direction of the Manager of Holistic Health, provides outpatient physical therapy and lymphedema services to both cancer and non‑cancer patients and education to patients and their families on management of lymphedema. Promotes growth and development of the lymphedema and physical therapy programs. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Must be certified in lymphedema and have 3+ years of experience treating lymphedema patients. Position Details: Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy. Licensure: Current physical therapy or occupational therapy license in the applicable state of practice or eligibility required. Experience: Must have at least 3 years lymphedema experience. Must know CPR and be able to respond to emergency situations. Other: Demonstrates advanced treatment skills and knowledge, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate patient needs. Preferred Requirements: Preferred Education: Master’s degree preferred. Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Why Mercy?
