FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Budget Administration Duties
You will advise and contribute on work in any phases of budget administration, to include formulation of budget/estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
You will present and defend budget estimates to leadership; review and evaluate budget requests; control, and report on obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend costs/benefit of alternative methods of financial management of the institution's programs and activities.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the institution's programs and activities.
You will assist program managers and staff in interpreting the impact of and planning for financial/budgetary and program changes.
You will perform a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work for substantive programs and activities.
You will execute modifications to systems, programs, and/or operations and establish criteria and other means to assess, investigate, or analyze a variety of unusual problems and conditions.
