Buyer $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly Job Title: Buyer San Gabriel Valley e-commerce company seeks a Buyer to join our Purchasing Dept. . Position Overview The Buyer is responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels by purchasing materials and products in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role works closely with vendors, Accounts Payable, and internal departments to ensure accurate purchasing, timely deliveries, and efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while building strong vendor relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review inventory levels and purchasing requirements to maintain appropriate stock levels. Generate, process, and distribute purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules. Monitor and follow through on purchase orders to ensure products are delivered on time and resolve any discrepancies or delays. Coordinate with the Accounts Payable department to ensure purchase orders, receipts, and invoices are matched and processed accurately. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation. Work collaboratively with warehouse, sales, operations, and other departments to support daily business needs. Assist the Purchasing team with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a buyer Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities. Experience with product lifecycle management and data-driven decision-making. Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and analytics software. Excellent communication and organization skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of global sourcing and import/export processes. Familiarity with agile product development methodologies. Excel or BI tool skills. Airsoft knowledge preferred but not required. Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly rate - $25 per hour and up, depending on experience.
