In this capacity, the CLS performs the preanalytical, analytical and post analytical and is responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance and all reporting and documentation.**Pay Range**Minimum $59.00 Midpoint $59.00 Maximum $60.00*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience** \\* Required: Minimum six months of Clinical Laboratory experience. \\* Preferred: Two years of Clinical Laboratory experience. **Education** \\* Required: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. **Special Skills** \\* Required: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. **Licensure** \\* Required: Clinical Lab Scientist- CA (CLS); Limited Licensed CLS may be accepted in lieu of a General CLS. \\* Preferred: American Society of Clinical Pathology.**Work Environments - Functional Demand:**Sedentary - Very light energy level Lift 10 lbs. box overhead.
