Travel ICU RN Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment. The nurse will be required to float to telemetry units as needed. This role requires critical thinking and the ability to manage patients in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner EMR.
• Assist with Open Heart and Impella procedures as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Experience in Open Heart surgery preferred.
• Experience with Impella devices preferred.
