Team Manager - NFMH

Responsibilities The Team Manager of NFMH provides programmatic, clinical, and administrative leadership for Astra Mental Health and Recovery’s NFMH Programs and NFMH Liaison, which includes serving individuals across the lifespan. Under the supervision of the Program Manager of Specialized Services, this position ensures that all NFMH operations are trauma-informed, person-centered, and compliant with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and KDADS standards. The Team Manager supports Astra’s mission of ensuring timely, effective, and compassionate response to behavioral health crises through evidence-based intervention, integrated care coordination, and community partnership. Job Requirements Education and Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health discipline (Social/Human Service field) and/or three (3) years of field experience with one (1) year of supervisory experience. Must successfully pass Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), Central Registry, and all required background checks. Valid Kansas driver’s license, good driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation required. Formal training or certification in clinical supervision or leadership development preferred. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in behavioral health, with at least one (1) year in a crisis or emergency services setting. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience with mobile crisis response, risk assessment, and coordination of services across systems strongly preferred. Familiarity with CCBHC standards, KDADS licensing, and crisis system performance measures.
