Job Responsibilities
  • Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and ability to manage daily life.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Partner with a diverse team, including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their caregivers about therapeutic methods that will support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure patients stay on track towards their goals.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Ongoing education and relevant post-graduate credentials are encouraged and supported.
Licensure
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
