Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will support students’ academic and personal growth in partnership with public schools. Working on a diverse City Year AmeriCorps team, you will provide in-class tutoring in core subjects, lead small-group and one-on-one interventions, and offer mentoring that builds students’ confidence and social-emotional skills. You will collaborate closely with teachers and school staff, track student progress, and help create an inclusive, engaging classroom climate.
