Accounts Payable Supervisor

Accounts Payable Supervisor Position The Accounts Payable Supervisor leads day-to-day AP operations within a fast-paced, multi-entity organization, serving as a trusted resource to the finance team and cross-functional business units. Responsibilities include overseeing accurate, timely invoice processing and payments across multiple entities, leading, coaching, and scheduling the AP team, owning vendor management from onboarding through statement reconciliations and issue resolution, managing utility payment and purchase order workflows end-to-end, driving process improvements and automation to increase accuracy and scalability, and hiring, training, and developing new AP staff. This role requires someone who is naturally detail-oriented, process-minded, and comfortable leading a team in a deadline-driven, high-volume setting. The ideal candidate brings strong vendor management skills, a proven record of implementing AP process improvements and automation across a multi-entity organization, and the ability to develop a high-performing team. Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Accounts Payable Supervisor Position Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 3–5 years of supervisory experience leading Accounts Payable teams in a multi-entity environment Strong vendor management skills with a customer-service mindset and effective escalation practices Demonstrated experience managing utility payments at scale with high accuracy and timeliness, along with oversight of purchase order workflows Proven track record of implementing AP process improvements and/or automation, with strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets and reconciliations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and experience training, mentoring, and developing new team members Property management industry experience and familiarity with RealPage AP workflows and reporting is a plus Compensation, Benefits and Structure for the Accounts Payable Supervisor Position The A/P Supervisor is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive base salary based on skills and experience. PK Companies also offers a comprehensive benefits package. Following an introductory period, this position is eligible for a hybrid schedule (2 days working from home) provided that performance expectations are being met. This position reports directly to the VP of Accounting.
