Mechanical Technician

Job TitlePay Range: $22.00hr - $26.00hrRequirement/Must HaveMechanical aptitude with prior hands-on experience.Experience working with tools, equipment, or machinery.Proficiency using basic and pneumatic hand tools.Basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and Microsoft Office.Ability to follow safety procedures and work collaboratively.High school diploma or GED.ResponsibilitiesMaintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history.Comply with TLM Product Line standards.Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the Maintenance Base to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery.Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, including reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process.Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.Implement cost of service delivery projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.Participate in failure investigations as assigned.Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.Nice to HaveExperience with hydraulic systems and pressurized equipment.Oil and gas or related industry experience.Inspection experience such as NDE inspector background.SkillsMechanical aptitude.Pneumatic hand tools.Microsoft Office.Outlook.Excel.Word.PowerPoint.Strong work ethic.Professional behavior.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or GED.
