AI/Data Analyst

Job Title

Client: large biotech Location: Thousand Oaks, CA: 2-3 days per week Working hours: 8am-5pm Duration: This ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to advance artificial intelligence and data analytics efforts by building machine learning models and supporting their implementation and deployment through collaborations with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Build machine learning models through integration of multiple data sources
• Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with subject matter experts to deliver value by developing practical, scientific data-driven solutions to meet business needs
• Debug runtime failures, stalled streams, retries, and state issues
• Comfortable with AI agents, runtime tools, and orchestration workflow

Preferred Qualifications:

• Databricks experience: SQL Warehouse, Delta Tables, Unity Catalog, MLflow
• Experience with RAG, vector search, and evidence-based answers
• Understanding of Pharma Value & Access / Market Access
• Familiarity with payer coverage, reimbursement, access restrictions, and formulary concepts
• Ability to work with claims data, including Rx/Mx claims, monthly trends, and utilization metrics
• Familiarity with coverage, approvals, denials, prior authorization, step therapy, and access barriers
• Proficiency in Python and SQL Programming Languages, along with Tableau/Power BI
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Independent, self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in project environments, and skilled in communication, facilitation, and collaboration.
• Team player, prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture that relies on collaboration for effective decision-making
• Familiarity with DevOps and good software practices (i.e. version control, continuous integration, test driven development)

Basic Qualification:

Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
