About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: ARRT CT required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have ARRT CT in hand at time of submittal. Siemens scanner experience preferred. Description: Level 1 trauma center with highly complex cases. All Siemens scanners are used in the facility. A qualified candidate with Level 1 experience or experience in a large hospital setting is preferred. Daily caseload will be managed per tech. Experience in outpatient and inpatient work settings is required. Experience in Level I Trauma, Teaching Client, and Community Client is preferred. General skills experience required includes PACS and contrasts. Experience in IV starts, portables, and biopsies is preferred. CT procedure experience required includes abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. Preferred CT procedure experience includes aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies. The facility operates as a short-term acute care teaching hospital. Total staffed beds are 1259. All staff are required to follow safety and security protocols. No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius. Max of 7 days of requested time off is allowed within the 13-week contract. BLS certification is necessary. ACLS certification is required for specific roles. Required skills must be verified during the submission process.
