Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with BLS and ACLS certification for a day-shift position on a 21-bed post-op unit.
Details
- Work on a 21-bed Medical/Surgical unit treating post-op, non-infectious patients including chest pain, CVA, and abdominal pain cases
- Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
- Required to work every other weekend
- Block scheduling may be available
- Floating required within scope to similar units
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care for post-op and non-infectious medical patients
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
- Requested time off must be submitted upfront for consideration
