Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Design Project Manager in Dallas, TX.Job Details:Manage the project development during pre-design and design phases of the projectManage all aspects of consultant contracts, including review and approval of consultant requests for payments, amendments, extension of schedule and contract closeoutManage the design development process and deliverables to get the project through design into bid and constructionMay provide comments on technical review of design documentsPerform a high-level review of design project documents for conformance with scope and stakeholder requirementsManage estimates, value engineering, and constructability review process by othersProvide technical assistance and recommendations to the owner and client representativesCoordinate with Project Stakeholders to resolve project and program issuesPerform required project data transactions utilizing client softwareProvide design and schedule updates as needs arisePerform investigations of specific problems, including architectural and engineering analysis and recommendationsConsult with regulatory agencies regarding interpretations and applicationsMonitor the services provided by professional consultants and meet to review and assist them in their submissionsPrepare reports for management and clientsAct as liaison between client and end user and government agenciesArrange and conduct field inspections with design consultants on site as needed, during investigation, data gathering and design development phasesTelecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US10% domestic travel required to client sitesQualificationsCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
