Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or valid Multistate (Compact) RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care or hospital setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
