Principal Architect

To support advanced AI systems, the temporary remote Principal Architect will design and build production APIs, manage large-scale workflows, and ensure operational reliability while leveraging backend engineering expertise. Key responsibilities Designing and operating production APIs and services, ensuring scalability and reliability Building agentic products and orchestrating batch workflows using foundation models and AI components Monitoring and improving production systems for uptime, performance, and quality assurance Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript 2+ years of experience architecting search and information retrieval systems at scale 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience building agentic products or solutions 5+ years of experience shipping production software in enterprise or consumer environments BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required
