We are seeking a positive, friendly Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service to our hotel guests. The Front Desk Agent will assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, issue room keys, and process payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with housekeeping staff to coordinate room availability, answering guest inquiries, and completing paperwork promptly and accurately. The Front Desk Agent must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Your goal is to provide guests with an exceptional customer service experience. Responsibilities
- Monitor the maintain knowledge of hotel operations and activities
- Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person
- Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation and open-ended questions
- Describe the features and amenities of guest rooms
- Ensure compliance with health and quality standards
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
- Able to lift 30 pounds
