Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales / Buyer Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, search our inventory and vendors to find the best product for customers need.  Create quotes based on market research, process orders for customers and manage POs with vendors.  The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, able to critically think and problem solve. 

Responsibilities 

• Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails 
• Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
• Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
• Research products needed for customer, including current inventory, current vendors and other options to find best option.
• Prepare quotes based on customers needs, market value based on research while maintaining appropriate profit margins. 
• Manage Sales Orders, including inputting proper information needed for each customer, with tracking through delivery.
• Manage Purchase Orders including inputting POs, working with vendors, tracking through delivery
• Coordinating with all appropriate departments and outside personal to assure smooth process for customer  

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous experience as a Customer Service / Inside Sales / Buying Representative or in a similar role is preferred 
• Comfortable using computers and ERP software
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of active listening techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
