As a Security Bank Officer Armed in Detroit , MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have a valid State of Michigan CPL
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
