Bankruptcy Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney licensed in Maryland to manage a substantive caseload in a hybrid remote role. This position is based in Maryland and offers an opportunity to grow expertise within a supportive, value-driven environment. Duties Manage a statewide bankruptcy caseload efficiently. Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and other key documents. Conduct Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and draft objections as needed. Attend court hearings both virtually and in-person. Act as a liaison between the firm, clients, courts, and trustees. Handle time-sensitive escalations and update client systems accurately. Requirements Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active Virginia Bar Membership in good standing. Three years of bankruptcy experience preferred but not required. Comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel as needed for court appearances. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Virginia Bar Membership. Skills Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation is a bonus.
