Job Title: Cloud Engineer (AWS Preferred) Location: McLean, VA (3 days onsite) Experience Level: 58 Years Overview We are seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in cloud technologies and modern application development. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy cloud‑based applications (AWS preferred) Develop and support microservices‑based architectures Deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to cloud environments Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build scalable and efficient solutions Leverage AI tools for prompting and workflow optimization Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools Required Qualifications 58 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; Java or Go also acceptable) Hands‑on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS strongly preferred) Experience with microservices architecture and deployments Familiarity with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins Strong understanding of cloud concepts and terminology Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Experience building AI‑driven workflows or using prompting tools Exposure to distributed systems and modern application design Education Bachelor's degree required Additional Notes Certifications are not required Strong emphasis on attitude, cultural fit, and hands‑on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Dale WorkForce Solutions
