About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty, with 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. Traveler must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with a passing score required. References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. No co-worker references will be accepted. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The role may involve floating to similar units as necessary to meet patient care needs. Shifts include both night and day rotations with potential for variability based on operational needs. The candidate must have significant recent experience within the relevant specialty and be able to adapt to a variety of circumstances. The facility requires all travelers to be nicotine-free, with specific requirements for drug testing. All other candidates must participate in a background check review process. Compliance with documentation and assessments is needed to maintain credentialing standards. The candidate will engage with a diverse patient population and manage a range of patient care responsibilities.
