L&D Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated L&D Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

This position requires working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
Provide comprehensive care and support to patients during the postpartum and antepartum periods.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
Conduct fetal monitoring and respond to changes in fetal status.
Educate patients and families on care plans and other health-related topics.

Qualifications

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Fetal Monitoring certification.
A minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
Experience in postpartum and antepartum care.
Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
