Manager Production Hatchery - Wadesboro Hatchery (Wadesboro, NC)

Overview The expectation of this position is to lead and direct hourly team members to produce quality products that meet company standards while achieving financial and business objectives. Essential Functions Provide quality products to customers globally. Achieve production objectives. Meet daily hatch objectives. Achieve safety objectives. Develop and retain qualified team members. Ensure TSA and NPIP compliance regulating Cobb business activities. Requirements Education: Must have broad knowledge in a general professional field, typically acquired through four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Two (2) or more years of poultry management‑related experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Travel: Four (4) or more domestic trips per year. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises a team of approximately 20 or more hourly team members. Biosecurity: Job site is a biosecure environment; requires showering before entering the facility and may require multiple showers during the workday. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided. No jewelry may be worn on‑site except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species and follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy and Biosecurity Standards. Physical Requirements: Must use safe lifting techniques. Duties include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, reaching, balancing, stooping, talking or hearing. May need to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Follow all required safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
