Pastoral Care Associate

We are seeking to hire a Pastoral Care Associate .

• $23 to $27.88 per hour based on skills and experience.
• Full-Time.

Qualifications of Pastoral Care Associate:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate or accredited theological courses preferred.
• Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and principles, spiritual and sacramental practices within the Roman Catholic tradition, as well as other Christian denominations and faith traditions.
• Knowledge of certifying and regulating agencies’ rules and regulations of CBRF facilities and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
• Knowledge of clinical, social, psychological needs, and ability to address spiritual needs of residents.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with a letter from their parish Pastor.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in pastoral care in a health-related ministry preferred.
• Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by NACC or ACPE preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build peer relationships.
• Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and create spiritual care plan.

Pastoral Care Associate Job Summary:

• Oversee and direct the delivery of a complete pastoral care program to residents, their loved ones, and staff of all faith traditions.
• Assess the education and training needs related to areas of pastoral support for elderly.
• Extend education and training opportunities to residents and their families, caregivers, staff, and community members.
• Coordinate service and ensure Chapel maintenance.
• Coordinate activities with other staff members.
