Oncology Nurse Navigator

The nurse navigator provides individualized assistance to tumor site specific patients and their families in overcoming barriers to care, facilitating timely access to care, and providing education and support. The cancer patient's trajectory through diagnosis, treatment, and after care survivorship will be seamless and coordinated in collaboration with the multidisciplinary oncology team. This specific nurse navigator will serve the thoracic (lung cancer) patient population and their families.

Minimum Requirements

• Current NC Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
• BSN preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• OCN preferred or within 2 years of employment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Organized, can multi-task, analytical, time management
• Work well under stress and be able to provide emotional support.

Pay Range

• Oncology Nurse Navigator salary range > $72259.20 - $105328.08
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage

• Location/Department: ECU Health Cancer Center (outpatient) - Navigation
• This on-site position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• The focus of this position will be serving the thoracic patient population
• No nights, weekends, holidays or call
