Job Summary:
Caregiver, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Clarkston, WA. This position involves providing peri-operative assessment and recovery care in a busy outpatient services setting. The role requires a focus on patient education, post-anesthesia complication recognition, and floating to various areas including day surgery, endoscopy, and pre-operative clinics. The schedule is four days a week with ten-hour shifts, including shared on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1 year of experience in peri-operative, PACU, or similar care; ability to work days; location in or near Clarkston, WA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong PACU and Phase II skills; experience with outpatient surgical procedures; competency in peri-operative education and assessment.
• Additional Information: This role involves floating to multiple outpatient areas including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic. The nurse must possess excellent assessment skills to recognize complications during recovery and provide patient education accordingly.
