Data Center Analyst

Data Center Technician – Delaware, OH Shift: 3rd Shift (7 PM – 5 AM CT, Wednesday–Saturday) Location: On Site – Delaware, OH Responsibilities Follow detailed plans and instructions as directed by management Install, uninstall, relocate, and test all distributed systems and network hardware (CSUs, DSUs, routers, switches, encryptors, firewalls, etc.) within the Americas Data Centers according to service level mandates Install, uninstall, extend, relocate, and test all carrier circuits to network hardware Install, uninstall, relocate patch cabling for systems and network hardware Install, uninstall, relocate Data Center hardware Coordinate cabinet power, circuit, and patch infrastructure installations with various facilities, electrical and communications vendors Assist with coordination of network component configurations Coordinate and install SAN cabling infrastructure Manage network ports and consumable items (cables, labels, tie wraps, rail kits, etc.) Maintain integrity of data center facilities, systems, and communications environments through housekeeping and best operational practices Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and processes for all non‑DCSD sponsored changes Coordinate activities to support all projects and technical requests within the Americas Data Centers Provide clear and detailed turnover to next shift workers for continuity Ensure destruction procedures are followed Support all site‑ and application‑specific disaster recovery, COB tests, and exercises Assist in supporting all reconciliation and QA efforts, including year‑end, physical inventory, and hard‑drive inventory levels Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in implementation, maintenance, and analysis of data center facilities, hardware, and communications infrastructure Basic background on enterprise data center facilities and infrastructure environments (PDUs, RPPs, network, and SAN infrastructures) In‑depth knowledge of complex, enterprise‑class inter‑networked environments involving switched/routed/shared Ethernet, TwinAx 100 GigE, 25 GigE, 10 GigE, GigE, 100 M, and 10 M; token ring; SAN; and wide area connectivity Strong knowledge of WAN technologies (OC‑x, DS‑x), subnetting, and TCP/IP protocol Excellent communication and writing skills Knowledge of trouble‑ticketing systems, change control, project processes, and associated tools Logical problem‑solving techniques and experience in system, data center facilities, and telecommunications Financial Services industry knowledge is a plus Must be willing to work 3rd shift, on location in Delaware, OH Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Care; onsite health centers; employee assistance program; wellness program Competitive pay; profit sharing; 401(k) with company matching; life and disability insurance; tuition reimbursement PTO and sick leave (starting at 20 days per year); holidays (10 per year); parental leave; military leave; bereavement Nursing mothers benefits; voluntary legal; pet insurance; employee discount program #J-18808-Ljbffr
