Security Officer - Per Diem

Description

A security officer's main duty is to help protect hospital people, property, information and reputation. The officer will carry out his/her duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, act in the best interest of the hospital, and fully support the mission, vision and core values of Providence St. Peter Hospital.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Facility Managed)
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience.
• Security, law enforcement, corrections officer or military experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
