Dining Attendant/Server - FT

The Dining Services Team at Givens Estates, a premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, is hiring for a Full Time Dining Attendant / Server to help support our state-of-the-art dining venue Terrene. This is a meaningful and vital position where you will set-up, maintain proper cleanliness and safety in the dining venue, while providing the highest degree of services and care to residents, guests, and team members.

The schedule for this role will be:

• Thursdays through Saturdays - 3PM to 9PM
• Sundays - 10AM to 4PM
• The rest of the shifts will be flexible across other dining venues to maintain the full-time hours.

What you'll do:

• Assists in assembly and completion of carry-out meals and deliver meals as needed
• Ensures quality service is provided to residents, guests, and team members by following the proper meal service techniques
• Keep venue areas clean & sanitized according to the Health Departments Codes
• Follows up with residents, guests, team members to ensure expectations are met and/or exceeded
• Has complete knowledge of venue menus and can relay in detail information to residents, guests, and team members
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• Prefer on-the-job three (3) months of supervised training
• Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation
• Knowledge to serve meals in an appealing and appetizing manner
• Knowledge of foods, beverages, condiments allowed on therapeutic diets
• High School or GED equivalent is preferred

Compensation: $17.50 -19.00 per hour, based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
