Accountant

Our client, a global media company, is looking for an Accountant to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Contract Role: 5 months (through year-end)
- Pay: $38-42/hr W2 (No C2C)
- Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9am to 6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch
- Own the preparation and posting of journal entries throughout the close cycle
- Support monthly close by ensuring accurate revenue recognition
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve variances
- Suppor cast receipts and AR functions
- Distribute daily P&L and Balance Sheet reports to Controllership and FP&A teams
- Bachelor's Degree is Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration is required
- CPA or progress towards the certification is a plus
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience (month-end closing, intercompany accounting, reconciliations experience)
- Prior experience working in the media, entertainment, or in a studio environment is preferred (familiarity with participation accounting or revenue recognition related to these industries)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with Oracle Fusion a plus
