- Jr. Web Developer## •### @zawyersportsPosted on 9/23/2025•Full-time## Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated Jr. Web Developer to assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, web design, and problem-solving, and will play a key role in supporting our Zawyer Sports Marketing team to deliver high-quality websites and applications. You will collaborate with designers, marketing team, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet both client and team needs.\*\*Responsibilities \*\** Assist in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of websites and web applications* Maintain and update existing websites to ensure functionality, security, and usability* Collaborate with team to implement new features and improvements* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across multiple browsers and devices* Support integration of third-party tools, APIs, and plugins* Work closely with the design team to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, user-friendly web pages* Ensure websites meet accessibility and SEO best practices* Stay current with emerging web technologies and recommend improvements* Provide documentation for code, workflows, and technical processes* Incorporate feedback from team members and project leads* Maintain website content by making timely edits, updates, and additions to ensure accuracy and relevance* Regularly audit site content to identify outdated information, broken links, or formatting issues* Support marketing and communications teams by publishing blog posts, news items, and promotional content* Create, customize, and manage Shopify websites as needed, including product updates, theme adjustments, and app integrations\*\*Skills \*\** Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript* Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility* Knowledge of front-end frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular) a plus* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)* Understanding of web performance optimization techniques* Exposure to back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.) preferred but not required* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Excellent communication and time-management abilities* Knowledge of SQL databases is a plus* BS/BA in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred**Job Type:** Full-timeWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.LocationOn-siteJacksonville, FloridaPayPay not disclosed
