The Apple Valley clinic is searching for a Family Medicine Physician to join its team. Here you will be part of a 51 member team including the service line specialties of Urgent Care, CKRI, community pharmacy, ortho, podiatry, cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, ENT, audiology, Ob-Gyn/Midwifery, urology, nephrology, diabetic education, clinic pharmacist, Mental Health, high tech imaging yet able to access the full spectrum of specialty care across the Allina Health system.Great clinic to build a new practice due to high patient demand, growing area and many primary care patient growth opportunities from Urgent care and Specialty provider referralsSuccessful mentoring program for new providers who join our practiceProfessional and fun culture - we believe laughter is great medicineMinimal call coverage, phone only, RN triage supportClinic hours are Monday: 7:30am-6pm, Friday: 7:30am-5pm, and closed Saturday-SundayEMR: Excellian is one of the most comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) systems in the nation.Job Description:Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.May participate in peer review and quality assuranceJob Requirements:MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training requiredBE/BC with ABMS or AOA requiredActive, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicableBLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 DaysPhysical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay Range: $279,825 to $329,175 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE.
