Piedmont Colorectal Associates is currently seeking a professional CMA to join our dynamic and growing team. We are a fast-paced surgical practice with four board-certified surgeons and three mid-level providers, dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will be patient-centric, team-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential to thrive in our collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Rooming patients and recording accurate vital signs and medical history

Assisting physicians and mid-level providers with in-office procedures and exams

Preparing and maintaining clinical documentation within the Epic EMR system

Coordinating prescription refills and prior authorizations

Providing patient education and post-visit instructions

Ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked and sanitized

Supporting front office staff as needed, including scheduling, registration, and handling patient inquiries.

Maintaining HIPAA compliance and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment

Qualifications

CMA certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent CMA experience

EPIC EMR experience required

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Strong commitment to patient care and professionalism
