Primary Purpose of Position Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions and possesses excellent knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Manage engineering issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work, proper configuration management, and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes. Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of regulatory/technical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs and support of outage activities outside the department. Minimum Qualifications Associate Engineering Analyst – E01 4‑yr technical degree OR 2‑yr technical degree and 1+ year nuclear or related industry experience OR High School Diploma and minimum 2 years nuclear experience Engineering Analyst – E02 4‑yr technical degree and 2+ years nuclear or related industry experience OR 2‑yr technical degree and 3+ years nuclear or related industry experience OR High School Diploma and minimum 5 years applicable nuclear experience Engineering Analyst – E03 4‑yr technical degree and 5+ years nuclear or related industry experience 2‑yr technical degree and 7+ years nuclear or related industry experience High School Diploma and minimum 8 years nuclear experience Location Lusby, Maryland Affiliation Constellation #J-18808-Ljbffr VetJobs
