The Intermediate Care area features 20 beds, accommodating high-acuity patients requiring oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support. The overflow area is an 8-bed open unit that manages lower-acuity intermediate care patients. This overflow section helps alleviate congestion in the emergency room. Patients in overflow typically transition to medical-surgical units when beds become available. All patients may require administration of heparin, insulin, or cardiac drips. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential.
