About the Role: We are hiring for a Senior Product Manager with a focus on strategic and customer-focused business development & customer relationship management. In this role you will bridge the gap between market needs and product strategy for our Pharma Solutions Team. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, translating customer insights into product improvements, and fostering long-term partnerships with key accounts. This role will include focusing on value creation, market development, and strategic relationship management aligned with our product roadmap. Role Responsibilities: Market & Business Development (Product-Led) Identify new market opportunities and customer segments aligned with the product strategy Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape Develop business cases and growth initiatives in close collaboration with Product Management Support go-to-market strategies and product launches Contribute to pricing, positioning, and value proposition development Identify strategic partnerships that enhance product adoption and ecosystem growth Customer Relationship & Strategic Account Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders Act as the interface between customers and the product team Deeply understand customer use cases and translate them into product requirements also powered by AI Conduct regular business and performance reviews with strategic accounts Identify expansion opportunities (new use cases, additional solutions, upselling aligned with product value) Monitor customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention metrics Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Market-oriented thinking Knowledge of AI impact in Pharma workflows Customer-centric mindset Strategic relationship management Product understanding & value articulation Analytical and structured working style Cross-functional collaboration Ownership and accountability Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field Significant demonstrable skills in business development, product or strategic account management Product Management skills and an understanding of product-driven organizations Strong analytical and market research skills Ability to translate customer needs into structured business and product insights in a fast-moving AI world Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Knowledge of the latest AI developments Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage) Willingness to travel as required for the role (approximately 15% annually) Ability to liaise with stakeholders across the globe Springer Nature Skills associated with this Job Profile include: SN-Collaboration, SN-Drives Results, SN-Market Research, SN-Process & Systems Design, SN-Product Design, SN-Product Development & Delivery, SN-Product Strategy & Execution, SN-Software Engineering & Systems Integration, SN-Strategic Mindset, SN-Tech Savvy US employees are eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life and AD&D insurance, tuition assistance, employee assistance program, paid vacation and sick time, flexible spending accounts, and a 401k retirement savings plan.
