Forklift Operator - Sit-Down

Position: Forklift Driver
Location: Lithia Springs/Austell GA area
Schedule: Third Shift | 10PM-8AM
Pay: $16.00/hr
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are hiring a Forklift Driver for a client in Lithia Springs/Austell area. This is a third shift role focused on safe material handling, production support, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely in compliance with OSHA standards and company procedures
Load and unload trucks
Transport raw materials and finished products between departments
Supply production lines with required materials
Move completed pallets to warehouse or shipping areas
Perform daily pre-operation forklift inspections
Report equipment defects or maintenance needs promptly
Maintain accurate inventory through scanning or paperwork
Assist with warehouse organization and inventory counts
Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly
Follow all facility safety rules and traffic patterns
Keep work areas clean and free of hazards

Must Haves

Valid forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operating experience
Ability to work third shift (10PM-8AM)
Familiarity with OSHA forklift safety standards
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Preferred Skills

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Experience with inventory scanning systems or warehouse management software
Sit-down and/or reach truck experience
