Contracted Student Intern – Clinical Professional Services (2600030V) The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking an intern to support its Clinical Professional Services (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston. Duties and Responsibilities Behavioral Health Treatment and Referral Platform (BHTRP) data review daily (monthly, YTD) Update Expedited Psychiatric Inpatient Admission website with resources, dashboards, and data trends Maintain relationships with stakeholders Update the BHTRP referral database and ensure status updates are accurate throughout the day Maintain insurers, EDs, and psychiatric facilities contact lists Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Strong organizational skills, ability to handle private and sensitive information, and multitask effectively Ability to work well within a team, offering assistance and contributing to group projects Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks Bilingual or multilingual fluency (advantageous due to the population served) Period of Service May 26, 2026 through September 04, 2026 Additional Information Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals. All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit. Salary: $19.00 per hour. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Days Off: Saturday and Sunday. Background Check A criminal background check will be completed on the recommended candidate as required by the regulations set forth by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services prior to the candidate being hired. Health Requirements Title 101 CMR 23.00 requires certain agency staff to have received COVID‑19 vaccination and Influenza vaccination or to have taken required mitigation measures. Successful candidates will be required to acknowledge and attest to their vaccination status for both COVID‑19 and Influenza.
