Senior Actuary

Operating independently in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Actuary Underwriter will perform technical analysis and develop opinions on loss portfolio transfers, reinsurance treaty submissions, and capital management, while providing guidance to junior underwriters. Key responsibilities Complete analysis of loss portfolio transfers and provide technical opinions on reinsurance treaty submissions Conduct due diligence and underwriting support for entities within Allianz SE, including transaction pricing and structuring Attend meetings with brokers and clients to discuss reinsurance submissions and coordinate technical analysis within the global underwriting function Required qualifications 11+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance, particularly in underwriting, finance, or transactions Four-year degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience FCAS accreditation preferred Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring future immigration sponsorship
