Ultrasonographer - OBGYN Coral 230 *New Clinic* (.9 FTE, Days)

Wage Range: $48.66 - $77.84 per hour Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity. Job Summary: Performs both obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound examination including the biometry and anatomy survey. Works collaboratively and under the direction of Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologists and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. Primary Duties: Performs ultrasound examinations of patients. Assists with ultrasound-guidance during in-office procedures as needed and requested by providers. Procedures may include but are not limited to: Sonohysterograms, Essure, Novasure and IUD placements. Promotes good public relations between patients, family members, clinic, hospital, and community by fostering a friendly, positive, encouraging, sympathetic atmosphere in the relationships between staff and patients. Communicates to patient constantly, in lay language, on the status of the examination/procedure, always maintaining patient's confidence. May provide portable examinations at bedside as requested by attending physicians. Performs other duties as assigned.
