Radiology Technologist II

Overview Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, located in Southern California, offers a range of acute care services including medical/surgical inpatient care, critical care, emergency services, orthopedics, maternity care, and wound care. Responsibilities Perform Diagnostic Radiographic, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Serve as the first line interface with customers, ensuring imaging needs are met. Participate in PI/QC activities and assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Oversee the radiology area and staff in Manager's or Director's absence. Maintain department supplies, equipment, and scheduling for assigned sub-departments. Process and transmit images to PACS. Qualifications Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. Current BCLS (AHA). Familiarity with State and Federal regulations. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred. Proficient computer skills. Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
