plaintext JOB TITLE CT Technologist (Allied) JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role is responsible for performing CT scans to assist physicians in diagnosis. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Position patients and set up equipment to obtain the necessary diagnostic images. Operate CT scanner console and associated equipment. Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists for any necessary corrective action or confirmation. Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Maintain patient care, comfort, and privacy throughout the procedure. Document patient procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies. Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT). State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, where applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Experience performing CT scans on a variety of patient populations is expected. Skills Proficient in CT scanning techniques and protocols. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to operate CT imaging equipment and related software. Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
