Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage a variety of urgent medical situations. Job Details Shift: Nights, 14:30-03:00 (Block scheduling is not guaranteed) Schedule: 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Active New York RN license and all other RN licenses with verification through NURSYS report. Valid drivers licenses with matching address. Up-to-date resume showing 2 years of emergency department experience, including pediatric experience, and documented travel experience. EMR experience with EPIC. Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse capability is highly desired. Float may be required. Additional Information: Unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Equipment used includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. The unit comprises 64 beds, including triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric units.
