Program Manager (Evergreen)

Position Summary Evergreen (Pipeline) RequisitionThis requisition is used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. While there may not be an immediate opening, candidates will be considered as positions become available based on their qualifications and program needs.Odyssey is seeking experienced Acquisition Program Management Professionals to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate and other Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.Our Program Managers support the government with planning, researching, analyzing and assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions (development, production and deployment), and formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk managementDevelop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation, including but not limited to:Acquisition Strategy (AS)Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM)Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registersLead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modificationsCoordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program executionPrepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadershipSupport Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicable Qualifications CitizenshipMust be a U.S. citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: SecretEducation and experience:Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experienceSenior: Bachelor’s degree and 25 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 15 years of relevant experiencePrincipal: Master’s degree and 25 years of relevant experienceProgram management experience preferably within a DoD acquisition environmentDemonstrated experience supporting ACAT I–III programs or equivalentPreferred QualificationsClearance: Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCICertifications:PMP (Project Management Professional)DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or equivalentExperience:Experience supporting AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, or equivalent Air Force acquisition organizationsExperience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programsStrong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 seriesExperience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, etc.)Technical SkillsEarned Value Management (EVM) analysis and reportingRisk management and mitigation planningFamiliarity with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)Understanding of requirements development and JCIDS processes (ICD, CDD, CPD)Interpersonal SkillsAbility to operate independently as a senior adviser to government leadershipStrong leadership and team coordination across cross-functional environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentStrategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilitiesAdditional InformationLocation:Eglin AFB, FLTravel:May be required up to 10–20% depending on program needsWork Environment:On-siteThis is an evergreen position designed to pro-actively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across Odyssey’s portfolio of acquisition and program management support efforts.
