Overview TRC is hiring a Construction Inspector II for Long Island, NY.To meet growing project demands, TRC is currently seeking qualified Construction Inspectors (CIs) to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Practice in Aberdeen, NC, and at other project locations across NY. Responsibilities .Must have bridge and highway construction experience, with NYSDOT. * NICET Level II or equivalent is required. * Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK Documentation and using Site Manager. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Night Shift, over-time and potential weekend work availability. * Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * 18 months or more of transportation construction inspection experience * Experience working on NCDOT highway or bridge projects preferredRequired Certifications / Qualifications (or willingness to obtain): * ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I * ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I or NCDOT Aggregate Level IInspectors must be familiar with NCDOT Construction Manual, Standard Specifications, and testing procedures, and be able to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.Benefits*:TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: * Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. * 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. * Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year). * All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year. * TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.*These benefits are applicable to US employees depending on their employment status (full time, part time, or temporary).
