Travel CT Tech - $2,825 per week in Boston, MA

Key Responsibilities Operate CT equipment (CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, patient monitoring devices) to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, and immobilization Select appropriate imaging factors, explain procedures to patients with consideration for physical and emotional needs, and maintain ethical and confidentiality standards throughout care delivery Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction, adhering to all applicable contrast administration policies and procedures Calibrate and verify equipment operation daily; report malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs with appropriate personnel Execute Radiology Information System functions for each patient exam, including scheduling, exam completion, and image transfer to PACS Float among radiology clinics and associated divisions as needed, and assume on-call coverage responsibilities while remaining flexible with shift coverage and overtime situations Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license and CT Technologist license required ARRT registration in CT (or equivalent) required Level 1 trauma experience required Siemens CT equipment experience required Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients experiencing physical and/or emotional stress Preferred Experience / Skills 2-3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in CT Analytical ability to apply knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy Experience mentoring or instructing radiology students or support personnel within a department setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma environment with exposure to a broad range of complex cases and advanced imaging technology Gain experience across multiple radiology divisions and off-site clinic locations, supporting professional growth and versatility
