Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an IN or compact RN license and 1-2 years of recent experience.
Details
- Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring in an orthopedic hospital setting
- 37-bed unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Fast-paced environment optimizing post-surgical patient care per surgeon preference
- Established order sets and protocols with a supportive team atmosphere
- Shift runs 3A-3P with no on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Cerner EMR preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, not expiring within 30 days of start
- 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide Med/Surg nursing care with telemetry monitoring for post-surgical patients
- Scrub colors are black or royal blue
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
