Role Description This full‑time Primary Care Physician role (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) is a hybrid position based in Puerto Rico, combining on‑site care at the Ciudadela clinic with some flexibility for work‑from‑home activities such as telemedicine and follow‑up consultations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care, conducting patient evaluations, managing chronic and acute conditions, and coordinating personalized care plans. The physician will use Pravan’s digital tools, including the mobile app and telemedicine platform, to maintain ongoing communication with members, address medical concerns, and ensure continuity of care. The role also involves collaborating with wellness providers and specialists, promoting preventive care, and contributing to a patient‑centered, concierge‑level experience. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; valid medical license to practice in Puerto Rico (or ability to obtain). Demonstrated experience in primary care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care in an outpatient setting. Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and ability to develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans. Comfort with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and mobile health applications, with attention to data security and privacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient‑centered, concierge‑level service and cultural sensitivity. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in‑clinic responsibilities with remote care and virtual follow‑ups. Collaborative mindset and experience working within interdisciplinary teams, including wellness professionals and specialists. Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly beneficial for working with a diverse patient population in Puerto Rico.
