We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to join our client. You will be working closely with our team of accountants, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
2. Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring all entries are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.
3. Handle all real estate and construction accounting tasks, including job costing and project accounting.
4. Work closely with other team members to develop and implement accounting procedures and policies.
5. Provide support to the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
6. Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
7. Provide financial advice and strategic planning support to the management team.
8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
9. Proactively identify and address any accounting issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
3. Proven experience with month-end close processes, journal entries, real estate accounting, construction accounting, job cost, and project accounting.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
